The skills learned will benefit any\u00a0discipline.\u00a0 \u00a0Obstacle training is also available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Appointments are necessary. Please call us at\u00a0<strong>(518) 842-2978\u00a0<\/strong>to schedule your lesson .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>County Line Stables is a smoke free, alcohol free and drug free environment. He incorporates his many&nbsp;years of personal horse experience into his instruction.&nbsp; He shares his training experiences&nbsp; and accomplishments that he has developed over the years with anyone who wants to combine the fun of horseback riding with learning about riding skills, horse behavior and getting useful everyday riding information. Anyone can surely benefit from his instruction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> Pat is well versed in many methods of gently-breaking young horses and helping horses with problems through horsemanship. \u00a0Although, his methods of training are self-taught they are based on the influences of well known Natural Horsemanship clinicians and trainers. By attending and participating in multiple clinics over many years and studying the various techniques used by these world renowned horseman\u00a0 (like Ray Hunt and similar horsemen such as Tom and Bill Dorrance, Joe Wolter,\u00a0Clinton Anderson,\u00a0Buck Brannaman, Brian Neubert and Chris Cox)&#8230;.taking bits of knowledge from\u00a0all of these trainers,  he has developed his own techniques that he has found out that have worked best for him and the horses he is trying to help,  achieving  a high level of success for both the horse and rider. Pat is able to recognize what the horse does naturally and uses his body language and non verbal cues to build trust with the horse.\u00a0With his own personals training style and a \u201cfirm but fair\u201d motto he builds a relationship of respect and uses this relationship to get positive training results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The focus of his program is not shows, ribbons or success in the ring, but the ability to ride safely with a horse in the arena, ring or on a trail in real life situations; whether it be on the farm or away.  we strive for you to build a  solid connection with your horse.  Although our lessons are based on Natural Horsemanship techniques, you will get instruction on classic riding techniques as well, but the goal of our program is to develop&nbsp;<strong>rider confidence<\/strong>, usable&nbsp;<strong>real-life skills<\/strong>&nbsp;and the knowledge necessary to ride and handle a horse with confidence.&nbsp;These lessons along with basic horse care lessons will enable any individual to have the skills to become a successful rider and\/or horse owner.
