About Ryan:

Ryan grew up riding the most famous horses in Hollywood. He rode the real horse who played Black Beauty as early as 3, bareback during performances. He rode the horses from Horse Whisperer, Appaloosa, Run Away Bride, Hidalgo just to name a few. Prepping horses on his own for set at the age of 14, working on his first movie job at 18. Ryan trained the horses from Winter’s Tale, broke 22 horses to drive for the show The Knick and most recently was driving teams on the hit HBO show West World. The Movie business requires horses to
be extremely versatile. Horses have to do tricks at liberty, be ridden and drive. When you go to set, you have to be ready for anything. With hundreds of distractions and things that some horses would consider down right frightening, these horses have to work perfectly. They have to be relaxed, calm and confident..
